When I met the Lord
I met you

When I love the Lord
My love for you is getting deeper and deeper

When I pray to the Lord
I also share the tremble of my soul with you

The distance between me and the Lord
reflects the distance between you and me
Now I know enough
that distance does not matter more
than the relationship

I lift my hands up to the Lord
and for you

I am not here
but the Lord in me is
I am not here
but you in me are

When you also are gone
there will be only us
and when we are all gone
the Lord alone will be, I pray
cause we are all in the Lord!
