When the flood sweeps away lives
we see a rainbow
like a coat of many colors
it is a sign of many dreams lost
and a sign of hope after destruction
Somehow we have to bring the rainbow down
to mix it with wine
not to be drunken and naked asleep
but to awaken lives to keep
even when it is just hope and not reality.
