On this Pentecost
the breath of George Floyd
came upon the disciples of Jesus
Suddenly the fire of tongues
started speaking in different languages
and all the people in the world understood
What it means to live as a black person
in this countryof freedom and opportunity
Three thousands were baptized
not by the water
but by the Holy Spirit
they could not go back to the old good times!
