Atheists, Agnostics, Religious Pluralists, and Christians

Atheists, Agnostics, Religious Pluralists, and Christians!

I have a son. I love him dearly. I have given him everything that I have. I wish him the best life here on earth as well as eternal life after death through Jesus Christ. In one word, I am his father!

Now if my son comes to me and yells at me, “You are not my father! I have no father! I do not need a father! I can live my own life by myself! I don’t care who you are and get out of my life!” Then, he is an atheist!

If my son comes to me and say, “I do not know whether you are my father or not! I need evidences! Sometimes I feel that you are my father and sometimes you are not my father. I cannot be sure that you are my father!” Then he is an agnostic.

If my son comes to me and say, “I know you are my father. However, I think other men in our town can be good fathers to me also. They have each some good advice for me and buy some good things for me from time to time. I guess I have many fathers and you can be counted as one of them!” Then he is a religious pluralist.

If my son comes to me, however, and say, “Father, I love you and I adore you! There is none like you! You are my life and you are my all in all! I appreciate what you have done for me and for our family! I will love you with all my heart, mind, and soul!” Then he is a Christian.

I pray that we all should say to our Father that we love Him, we adore Him, and we worship Him. I pray that we all should say to our Father that there is none like Him! He is the Creator and LORD of all but he is the Father of all human beings! Glory be to the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit!
